SeaTac Airport's Official Share Ride Shuttle Service

Share Ride–it's economical, safe and environmentally-friendly. We save about a million car trips each year! Go Shuttle Express offers Share Ride Service with several departures to every zip code each hour, 24 hours a day. You'll save money with our multiple-rider Share Ride rates and roundtrip discounts, plus kids 12 and under always ride free with a paying adult for airport transfers.


How to book your ride:

Click the Online Reservations button, located on our left sidebar, then enter your travel information to book your trip. Or call (425) 981-7000, available 24 hours a day. We will e-mail your confirmation to you.

Reservations to the airport are required, even from our scheduled service locations. Reservations from the airport are highly recommended, although we do accept walk-ups depending on availability.

Please note, reservations from the airport are not valid until activated. Trips are routed and vans are dispatched as guests activate their reservations.

 

What are the benefits of Advance Roundtrip Reservations?

  • Save money. Save $10 when you book roundtrip airport services anywhere in our service area.

  • Priority seating for reservations from the airport Guests who activate their advance reservations from the airport will have their vans dispatched before walk-up guests. If we are overbooked because of a high number of reservations, bad weather or road closures we may stop accepting walk-up reservations in order to accommodate our guests with advance reservations. Walk-up guests may be added to vans already going to certain areas, but their seats are not priority.

  • Quicker Check-In – Guests with advance reservations from the airport can go directly to the van loading area to check in, or they can use our self-check-in kiosk. Walk-ups must check availability and make reservations with our airport coordinators at our booth.


How does Share Ride work?

  • Our agent will ask you for your departing flight information. Our computer system will calculate your pick-up time, then give you departure options to choose from. You will be given a pick-up window of 20 minutes--you can expect your driver to arrive anytime within that window. This allows for extra traffic and weather conditions. For example, if your pick-up window is 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., you can expect us to arrive anytime from 10:00 to 10:20 a.m.

  • Please note, we may need to slightly adjust your pick-up time the day before your reservation. We will contact you to confirm your pick-up time the day before your scheduled trip.

  • Our Share Ride trips are scheduled to depart each zip code every 15, 20 or 30 minutes depending on the number of pick-ups within your area.

  • Your friendly, uniformed driver will meet you at your door and carry your luggage.

  • When everyone is onboard, your Shuttle will take you directly to your airline.

  • We aim to get you to the airport at least 70 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart (more time during holidays and inclement weather). If you'd like more time at the airport, let us know and we will accommodate you.



How to find us at SeaTac Airport:
Once you get your luggage in Baggage Claim, cross a sky bridge and go to the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Follow the Ground Transportation signs—our booth is in the center of the 3rd floor, between the orange and purple elevator banks (next to the airport’s ground transportation office). Our coordinators will help you or you may use our 24-hour check-in by phone hotline.

 

What's our Flight Cost Guarantee?
You can depend on Shuttle Express to get you to the airport on time. We are so confident in our service that we offer a Flight Cost Guarantee--if you miss your flight because of our service we will pay for any extra charges you may incurr to book the next flight to your destination. Unfortunately, we can't control inclement weather, poor road conditions and catastrophic events, so our guarantee does not apply under those circumstances.


When you make your reservation, we will give you your pick-up time which is calculated to account for picking up other passengers and typical traffic patterns at that time of day. We aim to get you to the airport 70 minutes before your flight, (except during heavy travel times like the holidays, when we suggest up to two hours ahead). The Flight Cost Guarantee applies to any airport reservation that goes by our suggested pick up time. It does not apply if you choose to have us pick you up later than our suggested time.

We serve all hotels with our door to door service, either with Share Ride and/or Exclusive Service.

For the select hotels and central locations below, we offer a discounted per person rate with our Scheduled Service. With this service, children 5 or younger ride free when accompanied by a paying adult. Roundtrip discounts don't apply to these already discounted rates. (The per person rates do not include fuel surcharge or optional gratuity.)

Where to Find Us at SeaTac Airport, Piers

 

SeaTac Airport Booth

To use our service from the airport, cross skybridge 3 or 4 to the airport parking garage then go down to the 3rd floor. Our booth is between the orange and purple elevator banks next to the ground transportation booth. Check in at our self-serve kiosk (for advance reservations) or check in with our airport coordinators at the booth.

Our coordinators, wearing red jackets or vests, are available to assist you between 7:00 a.m.and 2:00 a.m. If you arrive between the hours of 2:00 a.m.- 7:00 a.m., use the courtesy phone at our booth that rings directly into our reservations office. An agent will take your information and dispatch your van. Just have a seat in front of the glass windscreens and your driver will arrive shortly.

 

At Pier 66 (Bell Street Pier)
After leaving the Customs Inspection area, turn right and proceed south past the bus area to the sidewalk along the street.  Look overhead for the Skybridge.  (Do NOT cross the Skybridge.)  Our Coordinators, wearing red or green vests, are located just beyond the Skybridge and the Conference Center entrance. Our airport fares are based on the zip code you are traveling to or from and the number of people traveling in your party. With our share ride service, children 12 years old or younger ride free with a paying adult. With our scheduled hotel service children 5 or younger ride free when accompanied by a paying adult. For fare quotes, click "Online Reservations" on the left side of our web page.

We offer a $10 roundtrip discount between SeaTac Airport and anywhere in our share ride service area! Discount doesn't apply to Scheduled Service.

Please note: Quotes are "per party" not "per person." E-mail or call us if you need help with a zip code.

You may pay the driver directly with cash, local check, credit/debit card or traveler's check on the day of travel. We accept all the major credit cards (Master, Visa, American Express, Discover and Diners). We also accept Master and Visa debit cards. You may also prepay by calling our reservations department and supplying them with your credit card number or by choosing the credit card option when making your internet reservation.

Gratuity is not included in share ride, exclusive van, or town car airport transfer fares. A tip for a job well-done is optional, and is greatly appreciated. The customary gratuity for this type of service is 15-20%.

Gratuity is included in bus airport transfers (15%), luxury limo reservations (20%), point-to-point and hourly charter services (15%).

For all of our airport transfers, children 12 and under ride free per paying adult. So, for example, if you have two adults and two children (12 and under), the two children ride free. If you have one adult and two children, one of the children rides free.

We also offer a child's rate for our scheduled Seattle City Tour--$39 per child, 12 and under. (Adult fare is $59.)

We keep a limited number of standard children’s car seats (for children up to 4-years-old) available for our guests at SeaTac Airport.  If you need a car seat, request one when you make your reservation.

We do not have Infant Car Carriers, or Booster Seats available.
  If you require an Infant Car Carrier, Booster Seat, or prefer to use your own car seat we can store them for you while you are in Seattle (or on your cruise) and will have them available to you when you are ready to return to SeaTac Airport. 

(NOTE: Storing your car seat requires an Advance Round-Trip Reservation.)

Booking a roundtrip in advance can also save you money! Book roundtrip between SeaTac Airport and anywhere in our service area, and we'll take $10 off your fare. Just book a roundtrip, either online by clicking the "Online Reservations" button on the left of our page, or by calling (425)981-7000. Discount doesn't apply to Scheduled Service.

To SeaTac Airport: If possible, please make your reservation one or two days before your departure day. But, if you do not have that much notice, just call and we will do our best to accommodate you.

From SeaTac Airport: We offer discounted roundtrip reservations. Your reservation agent will be happy to take your return flight information over the phone or, you can make a roundtrip reservation online. If you don't have an advance reservation for your ride home, just go to our booth on the 3rd floor of the parking garage and check in. Guests who book in advance have priority seating, but we do accept walk-ups based on availability.

Non Airport: Shuttle Express offers private service with our exclusive sedans, limos, mini-coaches and vans. Please call our reservations department at (425) 981-7000 for more information.

Our booth is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. After you have collected your luggage, follow the red and black signs directing you to ground transportation which is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Once in the parking garage, proceed to our Shuttle Express booth by following the ground transportation check-in signs. You will find our booth adjacent to the Ground Transportation Information Center. Our coordinators, wearing red and black jackets or vests, will be there to assist you. You may also use our 24-hour check-in-by-phone hotline.

We work hard to make sure all of our guests leave the airport and get home as quickly and safely as possible. In fact, 80% of our guests leave the airport within 20 minutes. But sometimes during peak travel times, it make take longer.

Advance reservations help our dispatchers plan for extra vans during these peak times. We are also an "on demand" service from the airport, which means we accept walk-up reservations depending on availablilty. So, once you disembark your flight and get your lugguage, go to our booth on the 3rd floor of the Airport Parking Garage and check in either at our self-serve kiosk (for advance reservations) or with our coordinators. This activates your advance reservation and your van is assigned. Our coordinators are there to help you with your reservations and to answer any questions.

Because many flights are not on time and it takes some guests longer than others to retrieve luggage, we dispatch your van when you activate your reservation at our booth.  This allows you as much time as you need to get your luggage and get through the terminal. When you make your reservations, our system adds 30 minutes to your flight arrival time to allow for any delays, but if it takes a little longer that’s ok.

The benefits of making advance reservations from the airport include priority seating (walk-ups will assigned vans after those with reservations, seated based on availability and vans already going to their area) and quicker check-in.

Advance reservations also enable our dispatchers to schedule the right number of vans each day and help us to efficiently group other Share Ride guests, which keeps your wait and travel time to a minimum. About 80% of our guests leave the airport within 20 minutes!

So, once you disembark and get your luggage, go to our booth on the 3rd floor of the Airport Parking Garage. Check in either at our self-serve kiosk (for advance reservations) or with our coordinators. This activates your reservation and you are assigned to a van going to your area. Our coordinators are on hand to help you and to answer any questions.

If you don't have advance reservations, just check in at our booth and we'll get you on a van going to your area. Please note, those with advance reservations do have seating priority.

Our experienced dispatchers determine the best routes. Trips are created when our guests activate their reservation upon check-in, so your reservation is either added to an existing trip (in which case your wait time will be less than 20 minutes) or your address starts a new trip (in which case we try to make your wait no longer than 20 minutes).  The wait time of each trip is monitored and our around-the-clock dispatchers work to ensure airport waits do not exceed 20 minutes from the time the trip's first reservation was created. 

When vans are delayed coming back to the airport because of traffic or weather, or there is more business than what we anticipated, we occasionally run behind.  Wait times may exceed 20 minutes for any given trip when this occurs.  When our guests reserve roundtrips, we are better able to determine the number of vans needed.  However, this is simply an educated estimate because of all the potential changes and factors that can effect the travel time for both our guests and our vans.

Advance reservations from the airport are highly recommended because those guests will be assigned vans first, before walk-up guests. Walk-ups will be added to existing trips as seats are available. If we are overbooked, we may not be able to accept walk-up guests.

When you make a reservation for Shuttle Express to take you to the airport, our computer system calculates your pick-up time. You will be given a pick-up window of 20 minutes--you can expect your driver to arrive anytime within that window. This allows for extra traffic and weather conditions. So, for example if your pick-up window is 10-10:20 a.m, you can expect your driver to arrive anytime from 10:00 to 10:20.

Each guest is welcome to bring two checked (large) pieces, as well as two carry-on items. If you have extra luggage, please reserve one seat for every two checked bags you have.

Baggage Policy: We allow two standard-sized checked pieces of luggage and two carry-ons per guest. Additional luggage or over-sized pieces may be subject to an extra seat charge. Please provide an accurate baggage count when booking your ride.

Cancellation Policy: If your plans change, please contact us at least 24 hours before your van or sedan ride and 72 hours before charter or limo service to avoid no-show charges. If you cancel within the 24 hour period for vans or within the 72 hour period for charter/limo service you will be charged for the ride.

Gratuities: An optional gratuity given to your share ride driver for a job well-done is appreciated. Our airport bus transfers, point-to-point and hourly charter services carry a 15% mandatory gratuity added to the base fare. Luxury limo reservations carry a mandatory 20% gratuity added to the fare.

Limitations of Liability – Shuttle Express is not responsible for delays and cancellations caused by weather, road, or traffic conditions or any other conditions beyond our control. Any expenses incurred as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the passenger.  


Lost Items - Passengers are responsible for their personal possessions. We try our best to return items left in our vehicles to their owners, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced items. Any charges incurred in returning a left-behind item to its owner must be paid by the owner. When you reach your destination, please check to see that you have retrieved all your belongings, and that each bag, briefcase, computer, etc. is yours.

Pets - Shared-Ride and Private Vehicles: Small pets are allowed if they are contained in a kennel that can fit at your feet in the vehicle. We must be notified at time of booking. Service animals are allowed.

Private Vehicle Wait Time – We provide a 15 minute grace period if a guest is late. After 15 minutes, you will be billed for an hour of service.


Unruly Passengers - In order to maintain a safe and comfortable driving environment, our drivers have the right to deny or de-board any person who, in the driver’s judgment, is unruly or disruptive.
