What is door-to-door service?

Door-to-door means we’ll pick you up at the “door” of your home, office, or requested location in Seattle and drop you off at the “door” of your final destination in Portland. And the other way around! So just tell us where you want to be picked up and dropped off and we'll handle the details!

How much does it cost?

We charge a per person fare on our share ride service. The base fare is $69 one-way for first guest, second guest rides for $29! And now, no extra pick and drop off fees in the Greater Seattle and Portland areas. Kids 12 and under ride free with a full-fare adult.

15% gratuity is added to the base fare.

How often do you leave each city?

Our coaches leave both cities three times each day on week days and two times per day on Saturdays and Sundays. Departure and Arrival times below apply to both Seattle and Portland.

How long is the trip?

Typically, a trip takes between 2.5 and 3.5 hours depending upon traffic and weather conditions, and the location of your pick up and drop off points.

What if I'm outside the downtown area and need a pick-up?

We pick up and drop off in Seattle and Portland suburbs at no extra charge. Call our 24-hour reservation center at (425) 981-7000 in the Seattle area or 1(866) 666-4188 in the Portland area to check if we service your area.

Can I bring my pet?

We can usually accommodate small pets (under 10 lbs) contained in pet carriers, but please call us to check. If the trip you want is full, there may not be room for your small pet but we will do our best to accommodate on a case-by-case basis. Does your coaches have electrical outlets?

Yes, our coaches are equipped with outlets.

Do I have to pay for an internet connection?

We provide complimentary WiFi (internet service) in our luxury limo vans.

Do you stop along the way for a restroom break?

Yes, if a restroom break is needed by a guest, the driver will stop at the nearest rest area. If no guest requests a break, the driver won't stop.

Can I have alcohol on the coach?

Guests can bring alcoholic beverages on any private, exclusive charter but alcohol is prohibited on the daily scheduled share ride service.

I use the service a lot--can I set up an account?

Yes, just contact us at sales@shuttleexpress.net and we'll work with you to set up an account. You may choose monthly direct bill or automatic credit card charges with your corporate or individual account.
